Mama, I wanna come to your house

Last night I had plans to go out to dinner with my friend Ashley. Therefore, you were going to your dad's house to spend the night. All day long you had been saying " I wanna go now" You love going over to your dad's house to play and see your little sister Kelsey Grace.  Before bed last night, Amy let you call me to tell me goodnight. Probably not a good idea, when you got on the phone you started crying and said " Mama I wanna come to your house, over and over again. I felt so bad. I wanted to just drive right over and get you, the problem with that is if I came last night you would want me to come every time, and that wasn't going to help at all. I cried a few tears, and felt bad! I miss you and can't wait to see you after school this afternoon and I plan to give you the biggest hug and kiss... I love you!

I'm so sorry

The other night you and I decided we were going to have dinner at Ruby Tuesday's, I wanted a salad and they have a good menu for kids to eat as well.  After getting out of the car, walking through the parking lot, you wouldn't hold my hand. So we rushed onto the sidewalk, so that mama could keep you safe.  We got to the door of the restaurant and I started to open the door, just as you took a step forward. The door hit and scraped your big toe, you stopped immediately and I looked down, saw nothing and kept you moving. As we sat down, you across from me, the waitress came to take our order and you told her " I have a boo boo"...She said she was going to find you a band aide, I felt bad because I didn't realize you got hurt, and your big toe was bleeding. I cleaned it up and told you I was sorry,  I hadn't realized you had gotten hurt. We put on the band aide and made it all better... The funny part about this is for the last three days you have asked me at least 200 times..."Mama are you sorry you hurt my toe?"  I get tickled every time you ask.

The beginning of a blog of your life....6/25/2011

I've decided what better gift to give my little girl when she get's older then a blog of her life. The funny things she might do and say. The memories of time spent together. A place to have all the pictures of her life and memories in order and something for  her to cherish the rest of her life... For my sweet Evan, the blessings you have brought into my life are amazing. You are a wonderful  little girl and you make Mama smile and laugh everyday with some of the things you do and say ,so this is for you my little angel... I love you...

Earlier today you got in trouble and I told you when I got finished doing whatever it was I was going to put you in your room in time out.... I got done, came in the living room, sat down....You walked in and said "mama I'm right here" I replied, "I see you Evan". You then out of the blue responded..."You are suppose to put me in time out" Silly girl !!!



So today, we went with Chris looking at a car he was thinking about buying. You were so tired, but all you could say is "I'm not tired"...However, not long after we got into the car.... The picture explains it all....
